We love ya Marty, but the writing was on the wall.

The nation was secretly shocked to see the Marty Party end last night, as the broadcaster and his partner Ksenia were sent to the stands. 

He left in a very dignified manner and was clearly emotional, so to get more on the antics of the night, Brian Redmond and Julian Benson joined us in studio this morning. 

The theme of the night was 'Guilty Pleasures' and Julian wants to be given life as he's guilty as sinned! His greatest crime has to be his assault on the English language though.

Brian on the other hand is showing a lot more "equanimity" as he prepares the nation for the flexing of his Trade Union muscle from here on in.
