Michael D. Higgins was honoured to meet French President Emmanuel Macron yesterday on his first official visit to Ireland.

Speaking to Alison on The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show this morning, there was something going on with Michael D's accent.

His new French twang didn't distract Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe, however, as he was quick to phone in and tackle the President over his corporate tax rate comments.
