After months of speculation, Pádraig Harrington was yesterday confirmed as the Team Europe captain for the 2020 Ryder Cup at Whistling Straits in Wisconsin.
The three-time Major winner has been vice-captain for the last 3 Europe vs USA challenges, so he was the natural successor to Thomas Bjorn. And we're delighted for him.
Gift Grub got into the swing of things at a special Sky Sports press conference where Pádraig waffled on about about his wrist injury and revealed his highly detailed strategy for the players.
There's everything from an in-depth PowerPoint on the course/soil analysis to some eagle-eyed drone usage that is turning out to be a bit of a bogie for some of the lads.
He's got eyes everywhere!
