He has one of the most distinctive voices in Ireland, and was at one time the poster boy of pop music in our lovely island, but a country singer??? God darn it - that's a stretch too far!

After a surprise appearance on The Late Late Country Show Special Friday night, Ronan came into studio this morning to explain/defend his involvement. 

He also took the opportunity to give us an EXCLUSIVE listen to his new country song for Boyzone's album due for release this year. 

It's a much better performance than his duet with Lisa McHugh I tell ya. Always knew Ro was a bit of a cowboy...
