There was never a truer sentence for the cash-strapped situation over at RTÉ.

With a proposed €60m of cutbacks to be made (200 jobs in jeopardy, land being sold, digital channels scrapped, artwork auctioned off - the list goes on), Gift Grub imagined what a Dickensian national broadcaster would be like.

Ryan Tubridy leads the way with a host of RTÉ's finest joining him in chorus.
