With just over 48 hours until his holiness graces our shores with his presence, some divine inspiration was needed. 

Like all great world leaders prepping for a state visit, Pope Francis and his council decided to do some research on the Emerald Isle. But we think he may have gotten a bit of a raw deal this time.

Danny Healy-Rae, Eamon Dunphy and Davy Fitzgerald were the three messiahs handpicked to offer their counsel and they didn't hold back.

Danny warns him about "the jackeens" whereas Eamon teaches him the "flip-flop" approach.

We think Davy's advice is the best though and hope Knock and Phoenix Park are ready for what the Pontiff is about to bring.

The Lord sure does work in mysterious ways.
