It's hard to believe that it has been nearly four years since Hozier released his self-titled debut album, the incredible platinum-selling Hozier.
The Bray singer blew the world away with his viral explosion Take Me To Church back in 2014, not only for it's amazing sound and video, but for the powerful message it delivered, which even turned the heads of atheists across the globe.
But how could the 28-year-old songsmith bring us to those dizzying heights yet again? Through his new EP, Nina Cried Power, that's how! A taster of what's to come in his forthcoming album due out early next year.
Here he is doing his thang with Mavis Staples (who features on his new track):

Iano caught up with Hozier this morning to explore the highly-anticipated EP, where he described it as a tribute to the protest music of the American Civil Rights movement.
The four song production also features a "bluesy stomper", an "end of the world love song" and one with a Paul Brady influence. Just take our money Hozier, now.
We also had two super fans lined-up to say a quick hello and tell us a couple of funny stories.
Like this guy:

And Brenda, who had an unfortunate run-in with a bird prior to his gig on Monday night.
Here's the song in full:
We're running out of words to describe Hozier's work so let's just say a collective "Wow". And he's sound as a pound too.
Nina Cried Power is out now. "Aaaaaaaamen, Aaaaaaaaamen" (in my best Hozier voice)
