No matter what radio station or music channel you turn on these days, one of Jess Glynne's songs is never too far away.
She's one of the hottest names in music right now, and after the success of her second album 'Always In Between' (which debuted at No. 1 in the UK Albums Charts), the 29-year-old has become the first British female solo artist to have seven No. 1s in the UK Singles Chart.
Fresh from her sold-out gig in Dublin's 3Arena last night, the Londoner popped by Today FM headquarters for a chat on The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show.
Speaking on the show, Jess tells us how the title of her new album embodies her hectic lifestyle, "it represents emotions, my day-to-day. I guess since I entered this industry everything took off in such a crazy way".
Continuing with, "I guess I've accepted the fact that I kinda have two lives".
Her latest track 'Thursday', which she worked on with Ed Sheeran and Steve Mac, is her way of using her platform to help people to be themselves, "it's a song I wrote when I was going through my own insecurities and my own issues...you're not perfect. You are who you are".
She also reveals why 'Take Me Home' is so close to her heart and one of her favourite anthems to belt out.
After a really bad break up, one that put her in a "really dark place", the singer was invited to her friend's house to do some recording. Her head was still all over the place so he had the mic setup and said to her, "Just sing. Just say whatever you wanna say and get it off your chest". Then about a month later, unknown to her, he had produced the song.
And of course, Iano couldn't let her go without asking what it's like to be chosen to support the Spice Girls during their Spice World Tour 2019. But she doesn't think she could ever fill Posh's boots, "they're the Spice Girls and I'm just a gooseberry".
