For anyone who's ever spent a few nights out in the capital, on the law of averages, you've stumbled into Copper Face Jacks in the early hours of the morning.

'Coppers' isn't just Ireland's most famous nightclub - it's a shifter's paradise, a place where hours are lost but friends are gained, an institution. And now, it has been transformed into a piece of stage magic in Copper Face Jacks:The Musical

It centres around a young Kerry woman called 'Noeleen' who moves to Dublin to fulfill her dream of becoming a VHI worker. One fateful night, she is drawn to 'Coppers' where she meets Dubliner 'Gino' and a love story unfolds, despite the language barrier.

Paul Howard's latest creation opened in The Olympia Theatre on Tuesday night, so on yesterday's show, we put the call out to our listeners to see if they would like to attend the extravaganza and gives us their honest opinion.

We don't do stereotypes, so last night we sent along a nurse, a teacher, a GAA player and a Garda. They were on the phone line to tell us all this morning.

Copper Face Jacks:The Musical is in The Olympia Theatre until the 12th of August and by the sounds of it, you don't want to miss out! Get your tickets here.

You can listen to the fun in full by pressing the play button in the image at the top of the page.
