If you were within 5km of a park over lockdown, you may have noticed people ducking and diving around what looks like a tiny trampoline.

If so, it's quite likely they were playing Roundnet, a new sport that's taking Ireland by storm.

This morning on The Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show, Ian spoke to Simon Leonard, CEO of Roundnet Ireland.

Simon explained the rules of Roundnet and told Ian about how the sport has changed his life.

This weekend, the National Roundnet Championships will determine the official Irish Roundnet team ahead of European and World Championships next year.

Simon hopes that by the LA Olympic Games in 2028, Roundnet will be an official Olympic sport.
