That's what we're all hoping for tomorrow night as Ireland prepares itself for our first Eurovision final in five years. 

We've tried a few different methods since 2013 but it seems a beautiful song with and amazing singer is the only way to go. God bless the ballads.

On this morning's show we gave the man of the moment Ryan O'Shaughnessy a call to hear what he's been up to since that nail biting semi-final, and see how he's finding the experience overall. And it sounds like he's having the time of his life!

He also gave us a bit of insight into how the position of his performance is a very good omen, and praised the power of his team and theme.
