Fresh from her sell-out show in the Olympia last night, Sigrid has announced a new date in 3Arena!
The Norweigan superstar will play there on Friday 22nd November 2019 and was bursting with excitement when she sat down for a recent chat with Iano.
"It must be the biggest show we're gonna do", Sigrid told him, "It's really exciting. I'm so happy it's happening here in Dublin".
It’s been a phenomenal year for the 22 year old. In the last 12 months, she’s sold out two Irish dates, played to massive crowds at both Longitude and Electric Picnic and released her critically acclaimed EP, 'Raw'.
Sigrid told us why she's such a fan of the Irish:
"Irish people aren't afraid of letting go. You're not uptight. I think you're all very fun and you like to have a good laugh and I think that's a good strategy for going into a concert".
Her latest single 'Sucker Punch' has been making waves here and filled us in on how the song came about:
"It was a note I had in my phone for several months and I always thought it was such a cool title of a song".
She also demonstrated a pretty convincing sucker punch...
Coming up this morning, @thisissigrid chats to @IanDempsey!
Tune in this morning from 8am to catch the full chat - it's a good'en! pic.twitter.com/f9n0o80IU2

Sigrid's renowned for her trademark style of a simple T-shirt and jeans and she shared with Ian why she opts for that look on stage:
"I do quite a lot of fashion shoots and I love dressing up for those things but when I'm doing my job - and my job is to be an artist - it is to show off my songs and I like to wear something comfortable"
She also touched on the pressures of social media and how it's never all as it seems:
"My job is very glamorous sometimes with being on stage and touring", she explained.
"But today for instance, we took the ferry from England and I fell asleep on the couch with my headset listening to screaming kids running around me.
"I'm on email all the time, I decide almost everything with my career, I'm involved in every aspect of my career and you know, that's a lot that I don't really show a lot on social media".
Norway is known for it's popular ski resorts, but would Sigrid be up for coming on our own annual Today FM Topflight Ski Trip?
"Please invite me. I'll be there - definitely!"
We'll take that as a yes!
She also told Ian about making the video for Sucker Punch and taught him the Norweigan word for getting pissed!
