You know that fine broadcaster Anton Savage from the fantastic Anton Savage Show here on Today FM?
Well we were listening to him the other day & he was speaking of his dislike for Star Wars! I know, i know, shocking stuff.
So we seen this thing on The Slate website which says that any piece of audio can sound so much better once it gets the Star Wars Theme Tune treatment. For example, have a look at the famous scene from When Harry Met Sally & don't say it doesn't do the job!
So this morning on the show, we were thinking of other pieces that could do with the 'Star Wars' treatment. First of all, we used Stan from Gift Grub as a guinea pig in which he described his recent purchase of toothpaste. Yes, toothpaste! We ended up doing the same for Daniel O'Donnell, The Angelus & ahem....Ray Darcy!
