The meaning of masculinity was one of the issues discussed as part of our International Men's Day debate on yesterday's programme.
Darren Kennedy, founder of Kennedy & Co grooming products, joined us to talk about why men shouldn't be afraid to look after their appearance, and why doing so doesn't make them any less masculine.
"If you look at Ireland 20 years ago, if you were into your appearance and how you looked, it wasn't seen as a positive thing. The younger generation is all about looking well and taking care of themselves."
He doesn't think men should worry about what people think of them for using grooming products: "Masculinity in 2018 is whatever you want it to be."
Darren founded his own company to provide products for men that are both affordable and effective. He says, "We should be able to get a little bit of luxury, but you shouldn't have to spend your mortgage on it."
He also recommended five products he believes every man should have.
