Stories have been circulating on social media as well as mainstream media, claiming that 5G technology is linked to COVID-19.

Some believe that 5G networks have been acting as an accelerator for the disease, a theory which leading scientists have described as "a physical and biological impossibility".

Andy O'Donoghue joined us for Tech Tuesday to explain what 5G is, how it works and why it has no link whatsoever to COVID-19.

He also discussed WhatsApp's attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus misinformation by imposing limits on message forwarding, and useful apps for exercise, relaxation and learning while you're stuck at home.
