Schools around the country are preparing for the return of students to classrooms in the coming weeks.

While Co2 monitors have started arriving in schools to track air quality, concerns remain around how covid ready classrooms are.

The HSE says there were 46,000 cases of covid-19 in children since the start of the pandemic, with 832 outbreaks associated with staff and students in the last academic year.
