David Cross is best known for his roles in Arrested Development, Mr. Show and The Post.
He is also a stand-up comedian, and he will be bringing his new show to Dublin's Vicar St in October.
He was last here two and a half years ago, kicking off his European tour, and he says he is looking forward to coming back.
His show consists of "dumb jokes, anecdotal stories and topical, current events."
Although not deeply political, he says Donald Trump and his impact on America does make up some of the material.
David joined us on The Last Word to talk about the show.
