Australia's greatest living writer Peter Carey is back with a new novel, A Long Way From Home, set in his native country in the 1950s during the Redex Trial.
It deals with the issue of race and Australia's indigenous people.
He joined us to discuss the book - his 14th novel - as well as his 28 years living in New York, and his thoughts on Donald Trump's presidency.
