Former US President Bill Clinton has said he does not owe an apology to Monica Lewinsky, with whom he had an affair when she was a 22-year-old White House intern.
Clinton made the remark in an interview with Craig Melvin, host of NBC's Today, when asked whether he had ever apologised to Lewinsky in light of the #MeToo movement.
He said he had not spoken to her, but that he had apologised publicly.

Cal Thomas and Marion McKeone discussed this and other stories from the United States, including the mysterious disappearance (and reappearance) of Melania Trump and the 50th anniversary of Bobby Kennedy's assassination.
