RTÉ journalist Brian O'Connell has written a new book, The Personals: The Human Stories Behind the Small Ads.

It looks into the personal stories behind the classified ads, both in newspapers and online, and talks to some of the people involved.

He joined us on The Last Word to tell some of these stories, and to talk about why he finds the personal ads so fascinating.
