Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis is leading a campaign calling for changes to laws on media intrusion following the tragic death by suicide of TV presenter Caroline Flack.

The 'Caroline's Law' petition is campaigning for stricter safeguarding laws for celebrities in Britain and has already gathered over 250,000 signatures.

For our Monday debate, we looked at the impact that press coverage and social media can have on mental health, particularly for those in the public eye.

Journalist Larissa Nolan, Kate Shanahan, Head of Journalism at Technological University Dublin, Brian Cathcart, co-founder of Hacked Off, and Ciaran McMahon, author of The Psychology of Social Media, joined us to discuss these issues.

We also heard from Stephanie Davis about the campaign.
