COVID-19 forced many of the most popular shows on TV to abandon filming, but the coronavirus will make its way into some returning series' storylines.

Production has resumed on Coronation Street, with social distancing officially in place, and a new plotline will see frontline worker Aggie Bailey confronting the crisis as she's forced to self-isolate.

Meanwhile, Grey's Anatomy bosses have confirmed that the long-running medical drama will address the pandemic in its upcoming 17th season.
