Des Cahill is one of Ireland's best known sports broadcasters.
He has presented RTE's The Sunday Game since 2009, and more recently gained a new following as a popular contestant on Dancing with the Stars.
His new autobiography, Play It Again, Des, is out now. As well as being full of stories about the great sporting events he has witnessed throughout his career, it also deals with grief, sadness and guilt about the people in his life who suffered while his career thrived.
Among the book's reflections is his time as a news reporter covering the Kerry Babies case, and the sense of guilt he now feels at how poorly it was covered journalistically.
Des joined us in studio to talk about this and some of the other stories in the book.
