Emmanuel Macron and Donald Trump may be politically very different, but they seem to have formed an unlikely alliance.
The French President holds the distinction of being the first visiting head of state to be welcomed to Washington by Trump, where they are set to discuss a number of issues including the Iran nuclear deal.
But why has Macron succeeded in befriending Trump while other world leaders haven't?
Could it be that he knows how to flatter Trump's ego?
