Donald Trump's visit to the UK is underway and is proving very eventful.
In an interview with The Sun, the US President is quoted as saying that Theresa May wrecked Brexit and ignored his advice on the issue.
He also warned that she may have killed any chance of a trade deal with the United States, and claimed that Boris Johnson would make an excellent Prime Minister.
He had further criticism for London Mayor Sadiq Khan, saying he has done "a terrible job" in dealing with terrorism.
Trump has denied criticising Theresa May and said the Sun story was "fake news". Both he and the newspaper say they have a recording of the interview.
How damaging have Trump's comments been to the relationship between the US and UK?
Nick Ferrari and Cal Thomas assessed his visit so far.
