Donald Trump's attendance at the G7 summit in Canada over the weekend attracted attention for all the wrong reasons.
The US President left the summit early to travel to Singapore ahead of tomorrow's meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, which didn't sit well with his fellow world leaders.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau described the US tariffs on Canadian steel and aluminium imports as "kind of insulting", leading to Trump's trade adviser Peter Navarro to claim that Trudeau had stabbed Trump in the back and that there was "a special place in hell" for him.
Trump himself responded to Trudeau's remarks with a tweet:
PM Justin Trudeau of Canada acted so meek and mild during our @G7 meetings only to give a news conference after I left saying that, “US Tariffs were kind of insulting” and he “will not be pushed around.” Very dishonest & weak. Our Tariffs are in response to his of 270% on dairy!

How likely is it that tomorrow's meeting with Kim Jong-un will be equally disastrous?
Cal Thomas and Marion McKeone assessed Trump's behavior and looked ahead to what might happen next.
