Eamonn Holmes has been criticised for comments he made on ITV's This Morning about 5G and COVID-19.

During a segment on the show in which reporter Alice Beer dismissed baseless claims that 5G is linked to the coronavirus, Holmes said he didn't agree with mainstream media "immediately slapping that down as not true when they don't know it's not true."

Ofcom received over 400 complaints about the remarks, prompting Holmes to issue an apology.
