Minister of State for Higher Education Mary Mitchell O'Connor has approved a government initiative to tackle sexual harassment on Irish university campuses.

Under the initiative, universities will receive €400,000 in funding to provide information on what consent means.

Elaine Byrnes, Doctoral Researcher in Psychology at NUI Galway, and Síona Cahill, President of the USI, joined us to discuss the importance of teaching our young people about consent and how it could help eliminate sexual harassment.
