Donald Trump is in trouble again for his persistent attacks on the media, with Republican strategist Karl Rove warning that the president needs to "tone down the rhetoric" unless he wants to risk alienating undecided voters in November's midterm elections.
Trump took aim at "fake news" media once again in a series of tweets over the weekend, including one in which he described journalists as the enemy of the people.
He expressed a similar sentiment in a speech last week.
The Fake News hates me saying that they are the Enemy of the People only because they know it’s TRUE. I am providing a great service by explaining this to the American People. They purposely cause great division & distrust. They can also cause War! They are very dangerous & sick!
