Cystic Fibrosis Ireland will host 65 Roses Day next Friday, which will raise funds and awareness of the condition - for more information see 65rosesday.ie.
It also coincides with the first anniversary of the agreement to provide the Orkambi drug to people with Cystic Fibrosis in Ireland.
CF is a hereditary, progressive illness which mainly affects the lungs. Orkambi has already proven to be a life-changing treatment for many of the 1,200 sufferers in this country.
We spoke to three people who have experienced its benefits - Jillian McNulty and Brian McCarroll, who were both part of the Orkambi clinical trial, and Claire Mooney, who has been on Orkambi since last year.
