Many people take vitamins and supplements to try and boost their immunity. However, this is more beneficial to those who have certain deficiencies.
For most other people, eating a balanced diet is enough to ensure they get the right amount of vitamins into their system. Getting a good night's sleep is also important.
Getting enough exercise and a good amount of sunshine is key for vitamin D, but despite the lack of sunshine in Ireland, we can also get it from certain foods.
Finally, alcohol is an impairment as it slows down the immune system and also prevents you from getting adequate sleep.
