It's that time of year again when children all over Ireland go back to school.
But are school drop-offs the source of most traffic jams on our roads?

The most important thing is for drivers to ensure the safety of themselves, their children and those around them - Michael's tips include choosing an appropriate place to park, planning your journey to ensure you get there before the morning and afternoon rush, being cautious when opening and closing doors, and considering alternatives such as school buses if you live in an urban area.
