Hozier's new album Wasteland, Baby! has gone straight to number one in the US Billboard chart.
The album reportedly earned 89,000 album equivalent units, of which 75,000 were album sales.
This is Hozier's first US number one album. His debut reached number two, selling close to a million copies.
It's been a great couple of weeks for the singer, who also went straight to number one in the Irish Albums Charts and performed live on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
Tonight he will start his mostly sold out North American tour in New York.
Previous Irish artists to achieve US number one albums include U2, Sinéad O'Connor and Niall Horan.
