Students at Tyrrelstown Educate Together School and St. Luke's National School have still not returned to education following concerns about structural issues in their buildings.
Two weeks on, parents still have very little information on when their children will be able to return to the classroom.
Lisa O'Hagan, whose seven-year-old son attends St. Luke's NS, was among the parents invited to a meeting in the school this morning.
She was appalled by the current state of the building, which includes scaffolding covering the entrances and gaps in the ceiling. In her son's classroom, there is even a light being held up by a piece of string.
Lisa says she came away with no idea of when the school will reopen: "I stood there for an hour and a half and still walked away with vague and incomplete answers."
Ruth Coppinger, Solidarity TD for Dublin West, says: "We need to get more factual information."
"People must be shocked and horrified to find out that schools were built with thousands of children and hundreds of employees in them for five to six hours a day, and nobody actually checks whether they're safe or not."
