The National Immunisation Advisory Committee has approved the mixing of different covid-19 vaccines.

That means that for those who have received an Astra Zeneca vaccine as their first dose, can now get a Pfizer or a Moderna vaccine.

This new advice means that the Ireland can now go ahead with the rollout of booster shots, which could begin as soon as next month.
