Irish Rail is encouraging DART commuters to change their journey times during morning rush hour to help tackle overcrowding.

Barry Kenny, communications manager of Irish Rail, says the advice is aimed at those passengers who have flexibility in their commute.

But Mark Gleeson of Rail Users Ireland doesn't make much of the new website, and says there needs to be an emphasis on better capacity and more frequent trains.
