Martin O'Neill has confirmed that Stephen Ward was the Ireland player behind a leaked WhatsApp message discussing an altercation between Roy Keane and players Harry Arter and Jon Walters.

In his press conference ahead of tomorrow night's friendly with Poland, O'Neill said that Ward was not present during the incident and that his version of events differed from what O'Neill had heard Keane say.

He also denied that Keane had a problem with any of the players in the squad, but said it was not the first falling out and wouldn't be the last.
