Is it all over for Katie Hopkins?
It's been reported that one of the UK's most controversial personalities has applied for insolvency following a libel action two years ago, when she was ordered to pay damages to food writer Jack Monroe.
Hopkins made false accusations on Twitter in 2015, claiming that Monroe had supported the defacement of war memorials.
Since then, she has had to sell her home in an attempt to offset the costs of the case, and she also lost both her Mail Online column and her LBC radio show as a result of her highly controversial "final solution" comments after the Manchester terrorist attack.
Kate Brennan Harding and Pat Fitzpatrick discussed this and some of the other stories making the news in The Week Trending.
