Jamie Heaslip recently retired from rugby, having won 95 caps for Ireland and five for the Lions.
He was a member of the Grand Slam winning team in 2009 and has won two Triple Crowns, three Six Nations championships, three Heineken Cups and three Pro12 titles during his career for Ireland and Leinster.
Despite all of this, he says he has never been someone who is totally consumed by rugby - "I like balance" - and admits he didn't watch rugby when he wasn't playing, mainly because he watched enough of it for his own training.
There are things he will miss, as well as things he won't miss, about playing.
"I don't think that in 10, 15 or 20 years time my feeling of wanting to be out on the field will change. It's something very few people get to experience and it's amazing, but I don't miss the sacrifice part."
"I've missed numerous family occasions and stuff with close friends. But that's the way it works and I wouldn't change a thing."
He is yet to work out exactly what his life will be after retirement, but he has no shortage of qualifications, having studied medical engineering and a Master's in management.
He has also invested in tech companies and restaurants, and did an internship with Google.
"I'm confident that I can learn whatever needs to be learned, it's just trying to figure out what it is that inspires me."
Jamie spoke to Matt about the highs and lows of his rugby career, and what lies ahead.
