Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his wife MacKenzie have announced that they are to divorce.

They made a joint statement on Twitter, saying that their separation was amicable and they would remain friends.

Bezos is the world's wealthiest man and is worth an estimated $140 billion.

But does this mean that his soon-to-be ex-wife will be entitled to half their fortune?
