Writer and broadcaster Jon Ronson is bringing his stage show to Ireland at the end of May, which is based on the hit podcasts The Butterfly Effect and The Last Days of August.

The Last Days of August explores the story of porn star August Ames, who took her own life in 2017 after being publicly shamed on social media.

The Butterfly Effect is described by Ronson as "a more upbeat story about the porn industry." Both are seven-part series.

Ronson joined us on The Last Word to talk about the podcasts, the stage show and what he has learned about the positive and negative sides of the pornography industry.

The show will be at Vicar Street on 29 May and Cork Opera House on 30 May. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster.
