Kanye West has found himself in trouble again for controversial comments he made about slavery being a choice.

In an interview this week, the rapper said, "When you hear about slavery for 400 years, that sounds like a choice."

He also expressed the view that black Americans are "mentally imprisoned."

He is now facing a big backlash - but were his remarks a step too far, or deliberately misunderstood?
