RTÉ broadcaster Keelin Shanley passed away from cancer earlier this year at the age of just 51.

She spent her last few months writing a memoir, A Light That Never Goes Out, which chronicles her life and career as well as her final reflections before her death.

Keelin's husband, Conor Ferguson, contributed to the completion of her memoir.

He joined us on The Last Word to talk about the book and how her positive spirit helped her come to terms with her illness.
