Hundreds of people gathered in Dublin city centre over the weekend for an anti-mask and anti-lockdown protest.

It was organised by Health Freedom Ireland, a group led by anti-vaccine campaigner Maeve Murran and homeopath Kelly Johnson, with support from Yellow Vest Ireland.

No masks were worn by those in attendance, and there appeared to be an absence of social distancing.

Mick Clifford of the Irish Examiner and Professor Sam McConkey, Infectious Disease Specialist at RCSI University of Medicine and Health Sciences, joined us to discuss the issue of protesting during a pandemic.
