A fifth Irish teenage boys don't think its always necessary to get consent before engaging in sexual activity with somebody.
That's according to major new research done by NUI Galway, which also found that 93 per cent of teenage girls believed consent to be necessary before sexual activities.
That's compared to 79 per cent boys who said the same.
Dr Pádraig MacNeela, senior lecturer of psychology at NUIG and psychotherapist Stella O'Malley joins The Last Word to discuss these latest findings.
