Minister for Finance Paschal Donohoe today launched 'Build', the first annual report on the performance of Ireland's construction sector.
It is part of the Project Ireland 2040 plan.
He says the state will spend over €7 billion this year, an increase of €1.4 billion on what was spent last year.
The Minister joined us on The Last Word to explain more about the report and discuss investment in the economy.
