Parents of children at Ratoath College have said they won't accept the school's decision to continue with its compulsory iPad policy.

Students are obliged to purchase iPads for the school year instead of books, and this will not change despite parents' objections.

Nicola Kearns, a former teacher who herself has children attending Ratoath College, says parents have raised "legitimate and very serious concerns" and that they "will not be bullied" into accepting the policy.

She was joined by Andy O'Donoghue from The Last Word's weekly Tech Tuesday slot to discuss the issue further.
