New figures show that people working from home received an average of just €26 in tax relief last year to cover the cost of remote working.

Revenue paid out €1.1m to 42,000 remote workers last year, which amounts to €26 each.

With this in mind, is it even worth claiming the tax refund?

Charlie Weston, personal finance editor of the Irish Independent, joined us to discuss this and the news that PUP recipients returning to work in 2021 will have to pay all income tax due on the payment this year.
