Risteard Cooper is a big rugby fan, but he won't be present in Bilbao for this year's Champions Cup final as he normally would.

He'll be busy hosting a lunch and drinks reception at the Ballsbridge Hotel instead, where the match will be screened live, to raise funds for Spinal Injuries Ireland.

Tickets to the event cost €100, or €850 for a table of ten, and guests will include Gordon D'Arcy, Brent Pope and Paul Wallace.

Risteard will also be taking part in a Paris to Nice cycle for the charity in September.

He spoke to us about why he's "pretty confident" Leinster will win the Champions Cup, and reflected on 20 years of Après Match, which returns to RTE for the World Cup this summer, with the help of some special guests.
