Katie Hannon has received praise from thousands after her documentary on Maurice McCabe concluded on RTÉ One last night.

Half a million people watched the first part of Whistleblower: The Maurice McCabe Story on Monday night and it's expected that similar numbers tuned in to part two last night.

The documentary marked the first time that Maurice and Lorraine McCabe told their story of the smear campaign by former Garda Commissioner Martin Callinan and former head of the Garda Press Office David Taylor.
